OCCTAC's staff provides motivating training that allows students to make their own choices and find solutions to everyday problems.

Instructional Models

The program uses the entire center as instructional classrooms, providing a natural and accepting environment. Individualized programs are designed to be rewarding and promote each student's development as an individual.

Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility for the program is determined by the IEP team and specified in the Individual Transition Plan for students with disabilities aged 18 to 26 enrolled in the Self-Determination Program as determined by the Department of Developmental Services or OCDE Special Education Programs.

Parent Involvement

While our students are legally adults, we encourage parent involvement in helping them learn essential life skills. Collaboration as a team is important for our students' SUCCESS!
